Happy Father’s Day!

Here’s the man…the legend…my love and the BEST father to a pug you could ever WANT! Floyd LOVES, nay, WORSHIPS, his father Gordon. He’s a grillin’ and a smokin’ and a bakin’ fool… Who’s had some of Lula’s FLASH Bread?!? That’s GORDON’s bread! From Spelt to Sourdough to Rye to anything you want - THIS man does it. I’d like to say his culinary skills are why Floyd eats everything in sight, but Floyd is a pug, and all pugs eat everything in sight.I am so lucky to have this man in my life. He’s all hard angles, protecting and defending those who cannot protect and defend themselves, and all soft insides loving and giving of himself to those he cares about. He exemplifies the best of fatherhood. He’s also FUNNY! He makes me laugh all the time. One of the best things about our life is how we laugh together. So here’s to the man, the legend, my love and the BEST father you could ever WANT!

Winter, spring, summer, fall - Gordon is a BEEF guy. We’re trying to curb his desire a little bit because I want him around FOREVER. Here’s the problem: We’re both so good at the kitchen thing that we can’t find a steak that lives up to what we can do at home! Our anniversary is coming up…I love to cook but come on… any suggestions for the best STEAK restaurant YOU want us to try? We’re willing to travel… :)
