Lula’s Mother’s Day Delivery (or Pick Up!) Menu Covid Week 8

Folks just as we’ve settled into a routine I’m going to SHAKE IT UP.  Since the menu for next week is geared more towards Mother’s day, I’m going to ask that you allow delivery on FRIDAY, and pick up on SATURDAY so things will be fresh and beautiful for SUNDAY.  One of my Mother’s Day offerings is my Cocoa-Coffee Rubbed Flat Iron Steak, adorned as you see it here with Caramelized Onion & Gorgonzola Marmalade and a Balsamic Reduction. Hubby wants me to sell the rub – you let me know what YOU think! I will place the steak on top of Lula’s fabulous Cream Cheese & Horseradish Smashed Potatoes, so naturally it won’t look as MOD as this picture!  Click this MENU to check out other new dishes for next week. If your office or your family needs sustenance, you can’t get it from a safer place.  I want to thank YOU from the bottom of my heart for giving me something tangible to labor over and get my zen on again this week!!  Zen is a wonderful thing but I’ve been working really HARD…and Gordon has a week off after Mother’s Day.  I’m going to take some much needed time off as well.  I will be back with other menu offerings for delivery on 5/26, and pickup on 5/27 – back to the regular schedule.

Don’t forget, it’s only me folks, THESE TWO HANDS along with my 90% isopropyl alcohol, and my bleach…and if you want, my mask, and my gloves too!  If you’re wondering how you can help battle this pandemic, don’t worry – I’m helping for you – every time you order a portion of the proceeds goes to families in need!   With, in, and for love – Lula!

This is a closeup of our Zucchini and Artichoke Frittata …it’s on the Menu this week.  A client also asked for Italian Wedding Soup, so I’m making it available to you TOO!  And don’t forget we always have a couple of prepared salads to offer… Southwest Chicken Salad is going over REALLY well.

Thanks so much to everyone who is helping keep my kitchen open!   Quarantine Quiche continues to be wildly popular, so much so that I’ve ordered recyclable pans and will no longer hound you to get my pans back!  Click this MENU to check out new flavors for next week, and see all other offerings.  If your office or your family needs sustenance, you can’t get it from a safer place. This picture is the inspiration for this week’s Cornbread Casserole  – my hubby found a ridiculously involved recipe and labored all day over it – it was so good I’m replicating it with more protein & veggies to make a complete meal.  I want to thank YOU from the bottom of my heart for giving me something tangible to labor over and get my zen on again this week!!

Don’t forget, it’s only me folks, THESE TWO HANDS along with my 90% isopropyl alcohol, and my bleach…and if you want, my mask, and my gloves too!  If you’re wondering how you can help battle this pandemic, don’t worry – I’m helping for you.  This week, your orders enabled me to help out DCCH Center for Children and Families.  It is a privilege to help support their fine work.

Are you climbing the walls?  I can visit – if it’s nice outside we can have a chat from 10 feet away.  I’ll have a mask on but it will still be my charming personality visiting with you. 🙂  Are you immuno-compromised?  I’m happy to pick up your prescription for you.  Are you in a high risk group and don’t want to risk the grocery?  I can help.  Let me know how I can help.  I’ll do everything I can to be there for you.  With, in, and for love – Lula!

Click here to check out new flavors for next week, and see all other offerings.  If your office or your family needs sustenance, you can’t get it from a safer place.  It’s kind of been a rough week for me – not from distancing but just from an anxiety standpoint about the ramifications of the virus and the new world we’re going to have to live in for a while until we can get a vaccine.  I want to thank YOU from the bottom of my heart for giving me something tangible to labor over and get my zen on!!

Don’t forget, it’s only me folks, THESE TWO HANDS along with my 90% isopropyl alcohol, and my bleach…and if you want, my mask, and my gloves too!  If you’re wondering how you can help battle this pandemic, don’t worry – I’m helping for you.  This week, your orders enabled me to donate a lunch to the entire superstar staff (the doctors, nurses and all other HEROES that keep the facility running) at St. Elizabeth Covington.

Here’s our LulaTuna Salad – presented Nicoise Style.  I’m keeping 4 salads by the quart on my menu for next week until we come through this.  You also said you liked soup all year long so I will continue to offer 2-3 soups per week.  With business drastically reduced, I have to watch my inventory.  What would YOU like to see offered on my weekly menus this spring?  Tell me what you love, and even if I don’t make it right now, I’ll concoct a version just for you!! Shoot me an email – listed above.  I just need a little notice to craft something unique for you.  I am grateful in advance.
